Tap dance is a form of dance characterised by using the sound of one’s tap shoes hitting the floor as a percussive instrument.

These classes are taught under the Glenn Wood Tap Syllabus. Each year our students have the chance to work on their set level to build up their skills and take an exam. Each level teaches new and challenging steps to build our students knowledge of traditional tap. Please contact our staff to find out which level will suit your budding tapper.

ADFA instructs and enters students in the Glenn Wood Tap syllabus yearly. This syllabus is based on tap technique and the exams are fun for the students. All our students receive extremely high marks in tap. Glenn Wood Tap is more than just a tap syllabus, it is like a tap emporium that encompasses many avenues to help create the best tappers.
